About me

I’m Leander, I play electric guitar for some fifteen years, have a master’s degree in electrical engineering and currently am a research associate at a german university.

I’m doing research on different topics related to acoustic, with a focus on the determination of material properties. I also give a lecture on audio technology topics, especially signal processing, sound synthesis, and, on request, on guitars as well.

Over the years, I modified the electrics of almost all of my guitars and now I’m using this site to share some of the stuff I learned. I also make use virtual analogue sound synthesis for sound design and want to share some of my patches.

Oh, and you will find typos here, probably a lot of them. Feel free to tell me what to correct.
